What We’re Doing for the Community

  • To minimize contact, we’ve installed a state-of-the-art air purification system meant to handle COVID-19 in our multiple HVAC units.  Learn More.
  • Hot Desks, other shared work surfaces, and lounge seating in common areas are now spaced at least 6 feet apart from each other and seating has been significantly reduced to allow each member sufficient space. Partitions have also been placed between pairs of Hot Desks and Dedicated Desks.
  • Our professional janitorial crew now visits the space 5 evenings a week, instead of the previous 3/week, and we’ll likely have a day porter visit the space during business hours to give some extra attention.
  • Masks, Lysol wipes, hand sanitizer, and tissues have been placed throughout the space for your use.
  • Our small meeting rooms have been limited to three people per room at this time.
  • Our kitchen beverage station has been altered to limit single use contact.
  • Compostable, single-use cups/ plates/ utensils are provided. Please deposit in the marked wastebasket when finished.
  • Before our space reopened, we engaged a commercial grade disinfectant service. We will be utilizing electrostatic spray technology coupled with EPA-registered, hospital-grade disinfectant agents. This permits us to disinfect our facility using 60% less chemicals while ensuring complete, 360° coverage. We’re continuing this service weekly through the end of 2020.
  • We’ll be monitoring potential Covid-19 exposures among members and alert the community as soon as information is available including any action you may need to take.

COVID-19 MEMBER GUIDELINES

  • MASKS: Must be worn by all members, visitors, and staff. We have disposable masks available at the front desk and throughout our space if you forget yours on a given day. If you need referrals to sources of reusable masks, please ask our community manager.
    • As required by the Commonwealth, all members, visitors, and staff MUST wear a mask before entering and during their time in the building.
    • You may REMOVE your mask if seated at a Hot Desk or Dedicated Desk. If you leave your desk space to walk around any common area or if someone approaches you at your desk, a mask must be worn. These same rules apply for anyone in a Private Office.
  • If you are at high-risk please notify our community manager prior to arriving. ([email protected])
  • ENTRY: When entering the space each day, your temperature will be taken by our community manager with a touchless thermometer. For you early birds and night owls, please self administer this process and use provided Lysol wipes on the thermometer when finished. All members with a temperature at or above 100.4° F (38° C), a fever as defined by the CDC, will be asked to leave and not return until their fever has subsided for at least 24 hours.
  • PHONE BOOTHS: Please use the provided Lysol wipes before and after each use of the phone booths. This includes handles, desk surfaces, seats, and other touchpoints. Please crack the zenbooth doors after each use.
  • GUESTS: Members must register all outside visitors. This will help us with contact tracing.
  • MEETING ROOMS: Please wipe down the table, chairs, and light switch after each meeting. Please keep doors open and wait 15 minutes in between each room booking.
  • CHECK-IN/OUT: Using Office RnD’s updated mobile app or member dashboard, please check-in & out when using the space. This will help us understand occupancy levels and plan for potential additional changes to keep everyone safe.
  • RESTROOMS: Please allow only one person to use the restrooms at a time and follow appropriate hygiene and disinfecting procedures before and after each use. We’ve installed “occupied/vacant” signs on each bathroom door to make it known when one is in use. We’ve also installed touchless soap dispensers to complement the touchless paper towel dispensers.
  • Follow social distancing guidelines and avoid congregating in common areas.
  • Stay home if you are feeling ill. We’ll see you on Zoom or Slack until you’re well.
  • Please notify us immediately if you or someone you have been in close contact and tested positive for Covid-19. Close contact is defined by the CDC as being within 6 feet of an individual for 15 minutes or more.
  • Please notify us immediately if you have traveled to an area where a Covid-19 outbreak has occurred.
  • Please limit your access to st@rtup if you have traveled outside of Central PA.
